Canyon AeroConnect is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineer I to join our team. As a Test Engineer I, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our avionics systems.
Key Responsibilities- Test Planning and Execution: Determine the process for testing a particular component, assembly, or system, and create test utilities, set up engineering test environments, perform tests, and create test reports for engineering verification and qualification testing.
- Test Development: Capture Automated Test Equipment (ATE) system and software requirements with traceability to specifications and standards while providing evidence of test coverage.
- Test Solutions: Develop test solutions for factory, customer, and/or factory sub-supplier while considering cost, throughput, accuracy, and maintainability.
- Quality Data Analysis: Develop methods to collect, analyze, and report quality data in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- Collaboration and Communication: Interface/coordinate with the factory and other engineering disciplines, obtain and provide information to others within the organization, and comply with Canyon AeroConnect SHE policies and standards.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Skills: Basic understanding of Mechanical systems, knowledge of LabVIEW, Visual Basic, Python, MATLAB, or C# SW programming, exceptional MS Office skills, and ability to create test procedures and reports.
- Experience: No previous professional experience is required.
The employee will mainly work in an office setting that is relatively quiet and has temperature-controlled systems. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
