Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Polymer Research Scientist with a specialization in adhesive chemistries and polymer-based materials. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in synthetic polymerization techniques and the formulation of polymer composites.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and conduct experiments to synthesize polymers and coatings using various methodologies, including free-radical and controlled polymerization.
2. Develop and optimize adhesive formulations tailored for specific industrial applications, focusing on properties such as electrical conductivity and thermal stability.
3. Utilize analytical techniques to characterize polymer performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.
4. Stay informed on industry advancements and market trends to guide research initiatives.
5. Lead project teams in both fundamental research and customer-driven R&D, establishing comprehensive project plans and timelines.
6. Collaborate with legal teams on patent applications and intellectual property matters.
7. Mentor junior scientists and facilitate knowledge transfer through presentations and technical documentation.

Qualifications:
- PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Polymer Science, or a BS/MS with relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years in R&D focused on polymerization.
- Experience with electrically conductive polymer systems and high dielectric materials is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
