About the Job

At Lifelancer, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Investor Relations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing our investor relations strategy, fostering connections with investors, analysts, and external stakeholders, and conveying our company's corporate achievements, strategic aims, and avenues for expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and maintain all written investor-facing communication, including press releases, quarterly earnings releases, conference call scripts, key messaging, Q&As, and presentation materials.
  • Manage external investor relations and public relations firms, as appropriate, for key deliverables.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and investor sentiment to provide strategic insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Partner with the legal and finance teams to support SEC and other disclosures, as appropriate.
  • Provide accurate, consistent, and timely responses to external inquiries from investors, stakeholders, and analysts.
  • Work productively and frequently with the Executive Leadership Team to understand the timing and impact of business events and develop key messaging and communications around these events.
  • Conduct periodic peer research and maintain investor targeting lists.
  • Develop multi-year investor targeting and communication plans.
  • Manage social media content to ensure consistency with corporate communications and brand messaging.
  • Oversee special projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and shareholder expectations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred but not required.
  • 7-10 years' experience with 5+ years of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at a public biotechnology/specialty pharma company.
  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information and representing the company to external stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex ideas to external communities.
  • Existing relationships with buy-side investors and sell-side analysts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Represent the Company in a positive, effective, and professional manner, exhibiting behavior consistent with the Company's values.
  • Adhere to regulations impacting investor and other external communications.
  • Demonstrated track record of achievement in investor relations.
  • Ability to navigate and demonstrate success in a dynamic work environment which requires the collaboration of multiple people.
  • Attention to detail, demand for high-quality work, and sense of passion and urgency to achieve goals and improve the lives of patients.
  • Excellent communications, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to travel 25% +/- of the time.
