Job Title: Director of Investor Relations

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Investor Relations to join our team at Lifelancer. As a key member of our corporate communications team, you will be responsible for shaping and driving our company's corporate reputation and credibility with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage all written investor-facing communication, including press releases, quarterly earnings releases, conference call scripts, key messaging, Q&As, and presentation materials.
  • Manage external investor relations and public relations firms, as appropriate, for key deliverables.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and investor sentiment to provide strategic insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Partner with the legal and finance teams to support SEC and other disclosures, as appropriate.
  • Provide accurate, consistent, and timely responses to external inquiries from investors, stakeholders, and analysts.
  • Work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to understand the timing and impact of business events and develop key messaging and communications around these events.
  • Conduct periodic peer research and maintain an investor targeting list.
  • Develop multi-year investor targeting and communication plans.
  • Manage social media content to ensure consistency with corporate communications and brand messaging.
  • Oversee special projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and shareholder expectations.
  • Translate financial data and business objectives into compelling narratives that resonate with investors, supporting the organization's capital-raising efforts and enhancing shareholder value.
Requirements:
  • 7-10 years' experience with 5+ years of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at a public biotechnology/specialty pharma company.
  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information and representing the company to external stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex ideas to external communities.
  • Existing relationships with buy-side investors and sell-side analysts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Represent the Company in a positive, effective, and professional manner, exhibiting behavior consistent with the Company's values.
  • Adhere to regulations impacting investor and other external communications.
  • Demonstrated track record of achievement in investor relations.
  • Ability to navigate and demonstrate success in a dynamic work environment which requires the collaboration of multiple people.
  • Attention to detail, demand for high-quality work, and sense of passion and urgency to achieve goals and improve the lives of patients.
  • Excellent communications, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to travel 25% +/- of the time.
