Job Title: Banquet Captain

Delaware Park Casino & Racing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team. As a Banquet Captain, you will be responsible for creating a fun-filled and entertaining environment for our guests, ensuring the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service Excellence: Create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and direct a team of staff to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate events, including setup, execution, and breakdown.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with guests, staff, and management to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety in all aspects of event execution.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate and resolve any issues that may arise during events, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong attention to detail.
  • Certifications: ABC Servers card and/or Tips equivalent.
  • Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
