Multifamily Sector Energy/Commissioning Specialist

Key Responsibilities- Conduct energy models and simulations of new and renovated multifamily building projects.
- Perform multifamily building energy audits and analyze energy consumption patterns.
- Utilize Life Cycle Cost Analysis software tools to identify energy efficiency opportunities.
- Review and recommend energy-efficient designs for HVAC and electrical systems.
- Develop and maintain energy analysis calculations and reports.
- Participate in meetings with clients and design team members to discuss project progress and energy efficiency strategies.
- Complete IPNA Energy and Need Assessments and provide design direction for Passive House Projects.
- Provide mechanical, plumbing, electric, and energy-related support services for various project types, including Passive House, Multifamily LEED Certified, and Energy Star projects.
- Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent and five years of experience in energy efficiency and commissioning.
- Professional Engineering License (P.E.) or Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) working toward P.E. Licensing.
- Experience with DOE 2-eQuest modeling software and other modeling software tools.
- Certified Energy Manager Certification, USGBC LEED AP for Homes, and other relevant certifications preferred.
The compensation range for this position is $72,500 - $87,360 per year.
