We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Central Nebraska Rehabilitation Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, evaluation, and treatment programs.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients using appropriate Speech Pathology techniques and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide hands-on assessment, treatment, and direction to subordinate staff on matters of treatment.
- Actively listen to patient and family concerns when modifying treatment plans and educate patients and families to learn and improve functional activities.
- Document progress, discharge summaries, home programs, and other required documentation in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians and other staff members to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment plans.
- Maintain patient and family confidentiality at all times and participate in continuing education activities to stay current with industry developments.
- Licensed as a Registered Speech Pathologist in the state of Nebraska.
- Active ASHA Certification and adherence to the ASHA Code of Ethics.
- Completed or in the process of completing CFY.
- Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of the job.
The Speech Language Pathologist will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, requiring the ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. Regular physical activity, including walking, standing, sitting, and lifting, is also required.
