Nursing Supervisor Opportunity at Athena Health Care Systems

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Athena Health Care Systems. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our patients and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct and coordinate the nursing care activities on each shift, ensuring that the highest degree of quality care is maintained.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing Services to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care.
  • Conduct regular assessments of resident care plans, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related healthcare setting.
  • Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire nursing staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
