Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Engineer to join our team at Cuhaci & Peterson. As a Fire Protection Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing fire protection systems for various projects, including commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and layout fire protection systems in accordance with established policies, standards, and codes.
  • Perform engineering calculations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and managers to develop design scopes, schedules, and budgets.
  • Supervise subordinate personnel and assist other engineers or designers as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in fire protection technology.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Fire Protection, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of work experience in fire protection engineering.
  • PE license and active participation in professional organizations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, REVIT, and other engineering software.
