Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Central Maine Healthcare. As a Critical Care Nurse Specialist, you will provide direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations, ensuring exceptional outcomes and experiences for our patients and their families.

About the Role

This role offers a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, making it an attractive opportunity for nursing professionals looking to advance their careers. As a member of our team, you will be empowered to take ownership of your practice, working collaboratively with surgical technologists, orderlies, and other personnel in the Operating Room.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations, monitoring and assisting patients during procedures.
  2. Communicate effectively with the surgical team, sharing pertinent information about patient condition and advocating for safe, reliable, high-quality care.
  3. Use current OR technology and equipment, as well as integrative computer charting programs, to streamline care and improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Maine.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
  • Minimum of one (1) year work experience in the operating room preferred.
