Brand Activation Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Brand Activation Specialist to lead our brand activation efforts through content development and strategic media planning. As a key member of our Integrated Marketing team, you will be responsible for sharpening our brand positioning by bringing brand communications to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop world-class, consumer-centric integrated marketing campaigns rooted in insights and linked to universal truths that will resonate with consumers.
- Define overall marketing activation goals by assessing and reviewing internal brand plans, targets, and resources.
- Collect and analyze consumer insights to understand preferences, behaviors, and inform messaging and target audiences.
- Design and implement an effective media strategy for brand activation, with a focus on achieving an optimum balance between paid, owned, and earned media.
- Plan and optimize marketing channel utilization to maximize brand visibility, engagement, and consideration.
- Collaborate with the internal Integrated Marketing team to monitor campaign execution, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelines.
- Conduct regular analysis of campaign performances and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Prepare and deliver briefs to internal teams and external partners, clearly communicating objectives and expectations.
- Work closely with external and internal content providers to generate different types of content (hi-fi/lo-fi/UGC) that supports media plans and strengthens brand messaging.
- Manage media budgets effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize brand objectives.
- Conduct competitors' media and content strategy analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in media strategy and planning, preferably in consumer packaged goods or a similar industry.
- Proven expertise in content strategy, media planning (particularly in performance channels), and paid social.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to persuade and influence key stakeholders.
