Interventional Radiology Nurse

JobRialto is seeking a skilled and dedicated Interventional Radiology Nurse to join our team. As an Intervential Radiology Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Administering anesthesia to patients before or during procedures
- Monitoring patients' vital signs during the procedure and reporting any changes to the physician or other staff members
- Preparing patients for procedures by explaining the procedure to them, preparing them physically for the procedure, and setting up any equipment that is needed
- Preparing and arranging equipment for procedures such as MRI scans and X-rays, ensuring that all equipment is working properly before and after each procedure
- Preparing patients for diagnostic imaging studies such as MRI scans and CT scans by helping them disrobe and arranging them on a table or other equipment
- Preparing patients for interventional procedures such as angiography or biopsies by inserting catheters into blood vessels or other body cavities
- Performing interventional procedures such as biopsies or therapeutic interventions such as stent placements or angioplasty procedures to treat blood vessel blockages
- Helping physicians perform procedures by holding retractors, suctioning blood, applying drapes, and removing specimens
- Performing image analysis and reporting test results to physicians
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks and manage your time efficiently.
