The specialist will execute daily job functions to meet departmental goals effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional and courteous support to staff by ensuring the efficient operation of core systems and related applications. Assist in resolving issues and providing necessary information and support.
  • Initiate and generate accurate and timely routine daily job processes, including share draft clearings, debit/credit card transactions, audio response postings, and various reporting functions to maintain precision and punctuality.
  • Prepare specialized reports based on the requests and needs of the organization.
  • Monitor the performance of computer systems consistently, including consoles, printers, and tape drives, ensuring smooth operations even during after-hours on-call rotations.
  • Provide prompt assistance to staff by diagnosing and resolving computer and network issues while offering necessary information and support.
  • Install personal computer hardware and software as required.
  • Maintain client software effectively.
  • Ensure that appropriate security measures are implemented.
  • Conduct installation and maintenance tasks via phone as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of network assets.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of two years of experience in information systems operations with increasing responsibilities in related processes.
  • Preferred knowledge of credit unions or financial institutions.
  • Experience with Symitar systems is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to analyze technology-related challenges, troubleshoot effectively, and implement technology-driven solutions.
  • Proficient in maintaining and organizing documentation necessary for inventory systems, daily operations, and procedural logs.
  • Capable of translating complex technical information into user-friendly language for various stakeholders.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
