Key Responsibilities- Assure safe, rational, and cost-effective drug therapy for patients by evaluating physician orders, monitoring drug therapy, and communicating with healthcare providers.
- Participate in the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide pharmacotherapy education and information to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans that address medication-related issues.
- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
- Current Pennsylvania licensure or eligibility required.
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
