POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Support Representative serves as a vital ambassador for the Love's Travel Stops brand, engaging with customers and presenting membership options to drivers during their visits.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role encompasses various tasks that the employee must be capable of executing, either independently or with reasonable assistance.

  • Establish a welcoming presence with patrons.
  • Quickly assess customer needs upon entry, delivering concise presentations while highlighting product and service advantages, providing pricing information, and finalizing sales.
  • Achieve or surpass a monthly target of 15 memberships and fuel card sales.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints by delivering outstanding service to both clients and prospects.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to identify and implement necessary strategic adjustments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.

Experience: Familiarity with the trucking sector is advantageous.

Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary.

Attributes: Highly self-driven and results-focused, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented sales atmosphere. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Physical Demands: The employee may need to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, handle objects, reach with arms, climb, maintain balance, and occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Visual capabilities may include close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

This role is primarily situated in a retail environment, with exposure to varying weather conditions.

The noise level in the workplace is typically moderate.


SCHEDULE:

Hours will be assigned by the Field Sales Manager, not exceeding 30 hours weekly.
