About the Role

Austin Commercial is seeking a skilled Insurance Administrator to join our team as a CIP Insurance Administrator. This role will be responsible for managing the CIP insurance program, ensuring compliance with program requirements, and providing exceptional service to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage subcontractor enrollments, workers' compensation and general liability claims filing and monitoring
  • Field questions from contractors and subcontractors regarding program requirements and claims handling
  • Deliver enrollment reports to project teams, track receipt of payroll reports, and forward payroll reports to brokers
  • Collect documents from subcontractors when a worker is injured on-site and work with the clinic to obtain post-accident drug screen results and work status reports
  • File workers' compensation claims with carriers within 24 hours of injury and continue to work with injured workers, subcontractors, and adjusters until claims are closed
  • Maintain strong relationships with project teams, subcontractors, and other CIP Insurance Administrators
  • Participate in claims meetings with insurers and brokers and communicate details on pending, active, and closed claims
Requirements
  • Experience with CCIP/CIP insurance programs preferred
  • 3+ years' comparable experience, preferably in insurance
  • CRIS Insurance designation preferred, but not required
  • Ability to provide a high level of service to both internal and external customers
  • Professional, upbeat, energetic, initiative-driven, dependable, and prideful in the work they do
  • Extremely efficient, organized, and resourceful
  • Ability to report to office in Dallas, TX, with a hybrid work schedule based on experience
  • Minimal expectation to travel: 0% - 5%
