Sodexo is in search of a Clinical Nutrition Specialist I-HC to become a member of their team at a prominent medical facility, which is a 382-bed hospital, recently revitalized through significant modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Registered Dietitian status prior to the start date
  • Deliver nutritional care across various inpatient units
  • Work every third Saturday with on-call duties on Sundays, providing hospital-wide coverage
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives, including patient satisfaction assessments and monthly food evaluations
  • Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nursing staff
  • Support Food Service Management as required

Compensation:

Qualifications:

Basic Education Requirement: A bachelor's degree with completion of necessary coursework and supervised practice as specified by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). (Note: For those pursuing registration after 2023, a master's degree is required.)

Credentials Requirement:

  • Eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) status by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and registration within 120 days of hire. In certain states and/or facilities, RD/RDN credentials may be required at the time of hire.
  • Certification/licensure as mandated by state(s) of practice.
