Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in one of the following fields of study: Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or Math plus 2 years of experience; Or six (6) years of technical experience in developing complex applications in lieu of degree.
  • Technical Skills: Three (3) years of experience using three of the following applications: C#, Java, Python, VB.Net, ASP.Net/MVC, SQL Server, Bootstrap, Angular JS, Jquery, Knockout JSm, or HTML 5.
  • Agile Development: Knowledge of Agile Scrum SDLC and ceremonies.
  • Cloud Computing: Familiar with AWS Workspaces for cloud-based hosted development.
  • Software Issue Management: Familiar with Jira and/or GitLab for software issue management and tracking.
  • Object Oriented Programming: Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming.
  • Containerization: Knowledge of Application Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Debugging and Troubleshooting: Strong skills in debugging and troubleshooting applications to facilitate fixes and improvements.
  • Communication: Ability to clearly communicate ideas to coders, teammates and management.
  • Information Management: Experience building information management applications and working with relational databases.
  • Teamwork: Experience working as part of a team of developers, coders, testers, and Configuration Management specialists.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Security+ CE Certification.
  • .Net/MVC, C#, Java, and Javascript: Experience working with.Net/MVC, C#, Java, and Javascript are the preferred skillset.
  • Oracle: Experience with Oracle (building information management applications and working with relational databases).
  • Agile Development: Two (2) years of experience in Agile development and peer programming.
  • DevSecOps Pipelines: Experience with AWS cloud tools for DevSecOps pipelines including automated testing tools.
