Role Summary

Under the guidance of the clinical manager, the ophthalmic technician plays a crucial role in assisting physicians during eye examinations. Responsibilities encompass conducting patient workups, performing various vision assessments, gathering medical information, managing patient flow, scribing, and aiding doctors in a range of procedures. *Flexibility for overtime may be necessary. Willingness to travel to different clinic locations is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collecting and organizing medical records and patient data
  • Conducting ocular measurements, both anatomical and functional
  • Administering or preparing medications as directed
  • Providing patients with eye care and contact lens guidance
  • Ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of ophthalmic instruments
  • Supporting physicians in basic medical procedures

Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid and active driver's license
