Role SummaryUnder the guidance of the clinical manager, the ophthalmic technician plays a crucial role in assisting physicians during eye examinations. Responsibilities encompass conducting patient workups, performing various vision assessments, gathering medical information, managing patient flow, scribing, and aiding doctors in a range of procedures. *Flexibility for overtime may be necessary. Willingness to travel to different clinic locations is required.
Key Responsibilities:- Collecting and organizing medical records and patient data
- Conducting ocular measurements, both anatomical and functional
- Administering or preparing medications as directed
- Providing patients with eye care and contact lens guidance
- Ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of ophthalmic instruments
- Supporting physicians in basic medical procedures
