Role Overview

The Surgical Technologist II will play a crucial role in the surgical environment, which includes:

  • Preparing and maintaining the surgical suite
  • Handling instruments during procedures
  • Ensuring the sterile field is upheld
  • Monitoring and responding to changes during surgical operations

It is essential for the Surgical Technologist to stay informed about surgical protocols and procedures. This position may also involve mentoring new staff as required.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent training
  • At least one year of relevant experience preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire

Work Environment

This is a full-time position with variable shifts, requiring availability Monday through Friday, including some weekends.
