Job Summary

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a dynamic school district. As an SLP, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and be part of a collaborative educational team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Direct and Supportive Services: Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 35 elementary and middle school students, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Evaluate and Assess Student Needs: Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine students' speech and language requirements, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted treatment plans.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and implement individualized treatment plans and goals, working closely with students, teachers, and parents to ensure seamless progress.
  • Collaborate with Educational Teams: Attend and participate in IEP meetings to support student progress, share expertise, and contribute to the development of effective educational plans.
  • Document Services Provided: Accurately document services provided using ECATS and Medicaid systems, ensuring compliance and transparency.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Foster strong relationships with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure students' needs are met and their progress is supported.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid North Carolina SLP License: Possess a valid North Carolina SLP license or be eligible to obtain one.
  • Experience Working with Elementary and Middle School Students: Preferably have experience working with elementary and middle school students, with a strong understanding of their unique needs and challenges.
  • Familiarity with ECATS and Medicaid Documentation: Familiarity with ECATS and Medicaid documentation systems is a plus, demonstrating your ability to navigate complex administrative tasks.
  • Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills: Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including students, teachers, and parents.
  • Ability to Manage a Variable Caseload: Demonstrate the ability to manage a variable caseload, providing tailored support to students and adapting to changing needs.
