Job Summary

Soliant Health is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in a school district near Taylorsville, NC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and supportive speech and language therapy services to students at Hiddenite Elementary School and potentially East Alexander Middle School.
  • Evaluate students and assist in developing and implementing therapy plans.
  • Attend IEP meetings to contribute to the development and review of Individualized Education Programs.
  • Document therapy sessions and student progress in ECATS and Medicaid systems.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 35 students with varying needs across different grade levels.
Requirements
  • Valid SLPA license or certification in North Carolina.
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in using ECATS and other relevant documentation systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the school team.
