Key Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks outlined in the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
- Conduct test drives and assess vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Engage directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required, providing estimates for further repairs.
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification is mandatory.
- Competency in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
- Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to utilize electronic diagnostic tools.
- Exceptional customer service skills and basic computer proficiency.
- Positive demeanor and a willingness to learn and improve.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with effective collaboration skills.
- Capacity to learn new technologies, repair methods, and specifications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
