At Therapitas, our mission is to provide culturally-linguistically diverse children with developmental delays access to the same and appropriate services as their English-speaking peers. We achieve this by offering Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy through our outpatient clinics located in the heart of the Latino community.
Our Team
We are a tight-knit group of therapists who work closely together with our patients and their families to see positive growth. We are passionate about serving this population by applying our clinical skills and collaborating with other therapists to make real change in the lives of these families.
Job Description
We are seeking an English SLP to help our mission by providing appropriate evaluations and treatment for our culturally-linguistically diverse patients. The responsibilities include:
• Conducting speech and language evaluations
• Conducting individual therapy sessions
• Collaborating with other therapists in the clinic to foster a transdisciplinary approach to treatment
• Building trusting relationships with patients and their families
• Opportunities for supervision for SLPs with CCCs (additional compensation provided)
Requirements
We encourage candidates of any experience level to apply. Experience with pediatrics is preferred.
