Warehouse Process Optimization Specialist

At WEG Electric Corp., we are seeking a skilled Warehouse Process Optimization Specialist to join our team in Duluth, GA. This role is responsible for analyzing and improving warehouse processes to optimize operational efficiency and reduce waste.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Analysis:
Conduct thorough analysis of warehouse processes to identify areas for improvement.
Lean Implementation:
Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize warehouse processes and improve operational efficiency.
Value Stream Mapping:
Conduct value stream mapping to analyze and visualize the flow of materials and information within the warehouse.
Process Improvement:
Develop and implement strategies to address inefficiencies and improve productivity.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to align process improvements with overall business objectives.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, or Industrial Technology, or a related field.
Knowledge / training:
Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in lean tools and techniques (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping).
Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing environment.
