Soliant Health is recognized for collaborating with some of the most esteemed healthcare institutions in the country to provide interim pharmacy staffing solutions. We are currently seeking a qualified pharmacist to take on an interim role within a hospital setting in California.
Key Responsibilities:- Medication Management: Review, process, compound, prepare, label, and dispense medication orders and prescriptions.
- Therapeutic Monitoring: Assess drug therapy for suitability, contraindications, interactions, adverse effects, and appropriate dosing.
- Patient Communication: Provide drug information and medication counseling to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct drug use evaluations and inspections of medication areas to ensure compliance.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of patient care activities and adhere to regulatory standards.
- Supervision: Oversee support staff as necessary.
- Must be a Registered Pharmacist with the California Board of Pharmacy, actively licensed and in good standing.
- Availability for full-time work is required.
- Recent experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is essential.
