We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Services/Pre-Op Team at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital, a 350-bed facility offering a range of services. As an RN Registered Nurse Pre Op, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on patient care.

Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care in a high-acuity environment. This role requires assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating the care of Pre-Op and Phase II Recovery patients.
- You will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred; required within 6 months of position effective date.
- Current CAPA (Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse) or RN-BC required within 6 months of exam eligibility.
