About Us

We are a leading coffee company with a strong presence in WA, seeking an experienced Retail Construction Project Manager to spearhead the growth and development of our stores. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing new builds and maintaining existing store networks.

Job Description

This is a stand-alone role working remotely, requiring strategic and hands-on general maintenance skills. You will partner with developers to manage the delivery of new store builds, facilitate relationships with local builders and contractors, and ensure construction projects meet Starbucks standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage new store builds, internal fit-outs, and construction projects
  • Facilitates and grows strong relationships with local builders, developers, and contractors
  • Ensure compliance with budgeted financials and operational requirements
  • Contract Management: Manage capital budgets, value engineering, variations, and contract administration
  • Facilities Management: Support existing store network in day-to-day operations, reactive asset maintenance requests, and provide hands-on general maintenance and repairs
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong architectural and construction knowledge
  • High attention to detail
  • Exceptional time management, project coordination, and organisational ability
  • Ability and willingness to perform general 'handy-man' tasks
  • Preferably Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in related discipline – Project Management or Construction
  • 3+ years post-tertiary experience in related/similar role, including experience managing retail construction projects
  • Substantial knowledge of building practice, estimating, tendering, and contracts
  • Full Australian Driver's License
Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience
