Opportunity Overview

WSP is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineering Lead to join our Ohio Transportation Team. This role will be based in our Columbus office, with opportunities to work in Cleveland and Cincinnati. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading design, plan development, and structural analysis tasks for Ohio highway structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design and plan development tasks for Ohio highway structures
  • Perform structural analysis and design with a focus on bridge engineering
  • Mentor and train junior staff and other team members
  • Coordinate with project teams and conduct QC/QA reviews
  • Represent WSP at professional society meetings and conferences
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • P.E. registration in Ohio and ability to acquire in other states
  • 10+ years' experience in bridge engineering
  • Past experience leading a department or project team
  • Strong technical skills in structural analysis and design
