About the Unit

This position involves providing care for pediatric and Women's Health patients in a unit with 16 pediatric beds and 6 Women's Health beds.

Scope of Work

The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to provide professional care for patients and families, assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and discharging as per Corewell Health policies.

The candidate will also collaborate with patients and families to plan care and coordinate educational strategies.

Qualifications
  • Associates or Diploma in Nursing Required
  • Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years if new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
  • AHA, ARC, or Canadian Heart and Stroke Basic Life Support (BLS) Required upon hire/transfer
  • PALS required within 1 year of hire/transfer
  • Specialty Certification highly recommended within 2 years
  • Experience in Pediatrics preferred
