We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Dietary Aide. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Culinary Manager and be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, assisting dietary cooks as needed, and ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and safe work area, including sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, and taking out trash.
- Assist dietary cooks with food preparation, production control, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper use of equipment and cleaning/sanitizing procedures.
- Work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays with flexible hours.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two years of customer service experience.
- Minimum one year of food service experience.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Background in safety and sanitation compliance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current ServSafe certification or Food Handler certification.
- Experience working in a long-term care environment.
