Job Summary

The Dietary Aide plays a vital role in our Foodservice Operations team at Powerlink, a leading provider of Healthcare Integrated Services to Long-Term Care and Senior Living Facilities across the United States.

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Dietary Aide. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Culinary Manager and be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, assisting dietary cooks as needed, and ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, and taking out trash.
  • Assist dietary cooks with food preparation, production control, and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper use of equipment and cleaning/sanitizing procedures.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays with flexible hours.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years of customer service experience.
  • Minimum one year of food service experience.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
  • Background in safety and sanitation compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current ServSafe certification or Food Handler certification.
  • Experience working in a long-term care environment.
