About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer II to join our Renewable Energy Optimization team at AWS Infrastructure Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying software solutions that optimize the performance of our renewable energy portfolio.

As a Software Development Engineer II, you will work closely with our team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

You will have the opportunity to work on challenging problems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop your skills in software development, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing software solutions that optimize the performance of our renewable energy portfolio
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Developing and maintaining software code using industry-standard programming languages
  • Ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of software solutions
