Job Title: Lead Cath Lab Technologist

UnityPoint Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cath Lab Technologist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Lead Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for leading the Cath Lab team in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Cath Lab team in providing patient care and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of the department.
  • Collaborate with the medical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain the onboarding program for new hires and ongoing competency program for current staff.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiology Technology, or Paramedic Science.
  • Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Cardiovascular Technologist, Radiologic Technologist, or Paramedic.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an Interventional Cardiology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
