Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Care Specialist to join our team in Lewes, DE.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric care and be passionate about working with children. As a Pediatric Care Specialist, you will conduct comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and treat common pediatric conditions, provide patient education, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough health assessments of pediatric patients, including physical exams, medical histories, and developmental screenings.
  • Diagnose and treat common pediatric conditions such as respiratory illnesses, infections, allergies, and chronic conditions.
  • Provide families with education on health maintenance, nutrition, immunizations, and illness prevention.
  • Administer vaccinations, perform diagnostic tests, and interpret lab results.
  • Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems.
  • Educate parents and caregivers on managing common childhood health concerns, medication administration, and treatment options.
  • Ensure a compassionate and patient-centered environment for children and families.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, case discussions, and continuing education to stay current with pediatric care advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP): Master's degree in Nursing, certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), and current state licensure.
  • Physician Assistant (PA): Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies and current state licensure.
  • Registered Nurse (RN): Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse, with pediatric nursing experience.
  • BLS/ACLS certification required (for RN, NP, PA).
  • Experience in pediatric care is highly preferred.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
