Job Summary

KPC GLOBAL MEDICAL CENTERS INC. is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood specimens from patients via venous and capillary puncture
  • Ensure proper labeling and transportation of specimens
  • Process specimens in preparation for testing
  • Perform computer-related tasks, including running tests and maintaining patient records
  • Assist with non-technical functions, such as supply ordering and inventory management
  • Participate in the orientation of new team members
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of general acute experience preferred
  • Current California State Phlebotomy Certification (CA CPT) required
  • BLS and MAB certificate required within 90 days of hire
