Job Summary:
The Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Microbiologist at Shoreline Diagnostics will be responsible for validating and creating procedures for the Microbiology lab. This new specialty will be set up and processed under the direction of the Medical Director. The Microbiologist must perform laboratory analysis on clinical specimens using established laboratory procedures. Key responsibilities include processing of specimens, performance of moderate and highly complex analytical testing, establishing, performing, and documenting Quality assurance, quality control, and accurately documenting all work performed under the direction of the Laboratory manager.

Key Responsibilities:
• Process clinical specimens
• Perform moderate and highly complex analytical testing
• Establish, perform, and document Quality assurance and quality control
• Accurately document all work performed

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microbiology and laboratory procedures. Excellent communication and documentation skills are required.
