Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preschool Floating Teacher-After School Lead to join our team at The Peace Rose Montessori School. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead the Afterschool program, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children.
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
Manage classroom materials and maintain a clean and organized learning environment.
Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
Follow all school policies and procedures, as well as state and local regulations.
Maintain professional development to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Develop positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Ability to work one-on-one with students who need additional support.
A love of working with children is a must.
Patient, caring, and kind traits are required for Peace Rose staff.
Able to lift a child approximately 40 lbs several times a day if needed.
Physical ability to sit on the floor with children when needed.
Must be upbeat and an energetic team player with a positive attitude.

Requirements:

Must have classroom management skills and experience working in a preschool classroom.
Must have a HS Diploma and some higher education in a related field.
Pay based on experience and level of education.

Job Type:
Full-Time

Compensation:
$18.00 per hour
