About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Reservoir Modeling Specialist to contribute to our research team at The University of Texas at Austin. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with engineers, data scientists, and geologists to develop and implement cutting-edge reservoir engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain software packages for reservoir engineering and modeling.
  • Conduct research and analysis to improve existing CO2 storage capacity estimation tools.
  • Collaborate with team members to design and implement new workflows and algorithms.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering or related field; PhD preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in reservoir engineering and modeling.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and MATLAB.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000+, with opportunities for professional growth and development. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including TRS or ORP, subject to eligibility.
