Position Summary:
Ultrasound Technician

This role is classified as PRN with a competitive compensation rate.

As an Ultrasound Technician at CommonSpirit Health, you will conduct ultrasound examinations on patients in accordance with established departmental protocols under the supervision of the Medical Director.


Our facility is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to the community, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care.

To excel in this position, you should possess a comprehensive understanding of imaging technology and appropriate patient positioning to generate and interpret high-quality sonograms.

You will consistently aim to enhance the experience of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct clinical evaluations and diagnostic ultrasound examinations

Interpret sonographic images, integrate sonographic data with patient medical history, and relay findings to the relevant physician

Maintain optimal imaging standards by performing routine quality assessments on diagnostic equipment

Required Qualifications:
Associate's Degree is preferred

Current certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or ARRT

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
