We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to join our world-class team at Snowflake Computing. This role is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our elastic, large-scale, high-performance computing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide cross-functional leadership and collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to deliver outstanding program outcomes.
- Bring strong, data-driven and strategic technical judgment to decisions, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases.
- Work closely with Software Engineers and Product Managers to get high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle.
- Manage cross-functional dependencies, risks, and changes effectively, optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly.
- Develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
- Amply your impact by educating and mentoring the TPM and Engineering communities on program management best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve execution of the organization as a whole, increasing engineering productivity through tools and process improvements.
- 7+ years of demonstrated industry experience and expertise driving medium to large-scale software projects, managing the definition of technical strategies, and building long-term scalable solutions.
- Ability to thrive and succeed in a dynamic environment, not slowed down by ambiguity or competing priorities.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and other functions involved in the product life cycle, especially in earlier phases when product or architecture are not yet well defined.
- Able to identify gaps in solutions, debate technical approaches, and weigh in on product vs. technology tradeoffs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, consultation, and organizational skills.
- BS/MS/PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields or equivalent practical experience.
- A competitive salary range of $169,000 - $258,750.
- Eligibility to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.
