We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Aequor Technologies LLC. This role will be based in Sanford, NC.

The estimated salary for this position is around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

This position will support the Quality Operations department by performing Quality Control activities associated with clinical and/or commercial product, raw materials, validation, and stability. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining compliant Quality Control and Stability laboratories
  • Providing sample management support for QC
  • Creating, reviewing and approving documentation

At a minimum, the individual should be able to demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:

  1. Safety procedures and protocols
  2. Good written and verbal communication techniques
  3. Ability to follow written procedures and learn from hands-on training
  4. Complex mathematical and situation-dependent problem-solving skills
  5. Feedback and accountability for actions and personal development
  6. Decision-making based on procedures, guidance, and experience
  7. Awareness of own limitations and seeking senior scientist or management guidance when necessary
  8. Detail-oriented and ability to ensure correctness and accuracy in tasks and documentation
  9. Teamwork and independent work capabilities
  10. Willingness to use personal skills and knowledge to achieve individual and company goals and objectives
  11. Understanding of own area of function and knowledge of other cross-functional areas
  12. Creation, review, and approval of test method and/or equipment validation records
  13. Laboratory investigations to define root cause and assisting with validation protocol non-conformances
  14. Lean Six Sigma concepts and Lean Labs understanding

Required skills and qualifications include current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), Microsoft Office applications specifically Word and Excel, analytical techniques and instrumentation, Lean Six Sigma concepts, and Lean Labs.
