Rose International is in search of a skilled Linux System Administrator/Cloud Applications System Engineer dedicated to ensuring the reliability and support of cloud-based solutions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Linux System Administration: 5 years of experience
  • Kubernetes: 1-3 years of experience
  • Jenkins Pipeline Management: 1-3 years of experience, including executing and merging tasks
  • GitHub Repository Oversight: 1-3 years of experience
  • Dell Server Hardware Maintenance: 5 years of experience

Responsibilities:

  1. Support the implementation of new cloud solutions, which includes User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Operational Readiness Testing (ORT), and defining operational requirements. Deliverables will include Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Execution, Production Verification, and Developer and Administrative Portals.
  2. Ensure the overall stability, security, and supportability of the platform. Collaborate with development teams, vendors, product management, sales, and clients to engineer operational requirements, create technical documentation, and provide ongoing support.
  3. Monitor, maintain, and support cloud solutions, ensuring that standardized processes are in place for system installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
  4. Establish guidelines for system monitoring to maximize availability, uptime, and performance. Conduct research, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues and outages.
  5. Provide support for web portals, orchestration, platform, application, API, network, and monitoring requirements. Focus on platform health through monitoring capabilities, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
  6. Conduct post-outage reviews, manage Service Incident Reporting (SIR), and develop and present Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to management and clients.
