Job Title: Senior System Administrator

Metasys Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Cloud Operations team, you will be responsible for the 24x7 operations, administration, and maintenance of our server infrastructure in our NC (Network Cloud) Linux-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy software updates on our cloud platform, comprised of Linux OS, BIOS/firmware, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Calico, Ceph, MariaDB, and other software components.
  • Perform feasibility assessments, create requirements, manage projects, and integrate and test technical solutions for software.
Requirements:
  • Expertise across Linux, KVM, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Containers, Cloud Infrastructure platforms, and server infrastructure monitoring.
  • Experience in a production environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills in Linux, Cloud, OpenStack, and Kubernetes systems administration.
  • Familiarity with concepts such as High Availability, DRS, Fault Tolerance, Scalability, Reliability, and shared resources.
Preferred Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with OpenStack modules like Keystone, Nova, Neutron, Swift, Cinder, Heat, Glance, Horizon, and Fuel.
  • Proficiency in restoring applications/services in the NC infrastructure during outage/service degradation scenarios (hardware/OpenStack/OS).
  • Python & shell scripting.
  • Experience in deploying NC Server infrastructure (Linux, OpenStack, Kubernetes).
