Job Summary

As a Software Test Engineer at MAG Aerospace, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software solutions. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing manual and automated tests to evaluate software from various angles, including quality, speed, accuracy, and functionality. You will also work closely with the software development team to create products that align with customer needs and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement manual and automated tests to evaluate software quality and functionality
• Collaborate with the software development team to create products that meet customer needs and requirements
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports
• Identify and report software defects and vulnerabilities
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets quality and functionality standards

Requirements

• 5 years' experience as a Software Test Engineer or similar role
• 2+ years of Professional Coding experience with any programming language
• 2+ years of relevant experience as part of a test team
• 2+ years of experience contributing to test automation and frameworks
• Experience applying different software testing techniques, such as equivalent class portioning and boundary value testing

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Technical field such as IT, Engineering, Math, Physics, or similar with Computer Science coursework or minor. Computer Science Degree accepted but not required.

Clearance

Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret Clearance

Other Qualifications

Relevant industry certifications, such as the Certified associate in software Testing (CAST) or the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certification.
