About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Systems Engineer to join our team at BigBear.ai. As a key member of our infrastructure management team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, and Lambda.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Implement and manage cloud security solutions to ensure compliance with FedRAMP and DoD SRG standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud strategies with organizational objectives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues in on-prem and AWS environments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2-5 years of experience supporting an infrastructure management team, or Master's Degree and 0-3 years of experience, or Associates Degree and 4-6 years of experience, or in lieu of a degree, an additional 8 to 10 years of experience.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Windows and Linux Administration experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in system engineering and DevSecOps, specifically in AWS cloud environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS Professional-level certifications.
  • Working knowledge of the Agile Development methodology.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with container development (docker, podman).
