We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Traveling Internal Medicine Physician to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional medical care within a supportive and family-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive medical services in accordance with established clinical privileges and contractual obligations.
- Evaluate patient consultations, medical histories, and physical examinations to determine suitability for various medical assignments.
- Review electronic medical records and results, documenting progress notes and utilizing electronic systems for effective patient management.
- Conduct thorough analyses of medical conditions based on diverse evaluations and reports, integrating findings into detailed clinical assessments.
- Provide appropriate consultations and referrals for further diagnosis and treatment as necessary.
- Perform Independent Medical Reviews (IMRs) upon request and participate in relevant committees and administrative tasks.
- Fulfill additional duties consistent with the responsibilities of a physician as directed by the appropriate authority.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of one year of experience as a physician in an internal medicine setting within the last two years, or completion of a Family Practice or Internal Medicine residency program within the past year.
- A Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
- A current, unrestricted medical license to practice in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
