Physician - Internal Medicine Specialist

About the Opportunity
KurzSolutions is seeking a highly skilled Internal Medicine Physician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide medical services within the defined scope of clinical privileges and contractual obligations.
Responsibilities
- Review patient consultations, medical records, and physical assessments to assess suitability for various assignments or duties.
- Review electronic medical reports and results, enter progress notes, and utilize electronic systems for patient management.
- Analyze medical conditions based on diverse evaluations and reports, integrating findings into comprehensive clinical assessments.
- Provide appropriate consultations and referrals for further diagnosis and treatment.
- Conduct Independent Medical Reviews (IMRs) upon request.
- Participate in committees and administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
- Possess one year of experience within the last two years as a physician or internal medicine setting OR have successfully completed the Family Practice or Internal Medicine residency program within one year to applying for this position.
- Shall have a degree of Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.).
- Must be a Graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada.
- Must be board certified OR board eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Must have and maintain a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
- Must have and maintain BLS through AHA.
