The Patient Care Technician Instructor will be tasked with educating and guiding students enrolled in the Patient Care Technician Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing effective instructional strategies and course outlines;
  • Organizing class schedules for the Patient Care Technician program and the overall master course timetable;
  • Ensuring that program learning objectives are achieved while adhering to established curriculum standards;
  • Preparing and delivering engaging instructional content on a daily basis;
  • Conducting assessments and maintaining grading protocols;
  • Exhibiting strong communication abilities and a thorough understanding of nursing practices;
  • Assisting in student recruitment, job placement, and academic advising;
  • Overseeing student resources and maintaining instructional environments;
  • Performing site evaluations to guarantee quality educational delivery;
  • Upholding institutional policies and procedures;
  • Participating in committees and meeting the qualification standards set forth by the educational system;
  • Attending necessary meetings and collaborating effectively with students and colleagues;
  • Creating and reviewing program materials in accordance with approved guidelines;
  • Enforcing institutional policies and procedures consistently.

Minimum Qualifications:

An Associate's Degree in Nursing, a valid Registered Nurse license, and a minimum of two years of relevant experience as a Registered Nurse with clinical exposure in a Long-Term Care setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and over five years of clinical and instructional experience.

Required Certifications/Licenses:

  • Certification in CPR from the American Heart Association;
  • Train-the-Trainer Certification;
  • Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia;

Note: Travel may be necessary for teaching at various locations or community engagements.

Background screenings will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
