Our Store Operations Leaders are equipped with the necessary tools, training, and support to excel in managing a Walgreens location, ensuring a distinctive and rewarding experience for our customers.
The Store Operations Leader will take on overall responsibility for the store during the absence of the assistant manager.
Key Responsibilities: The following duties are essential, but not limited to:
- Oversee and monitor store financial performance, cash management, inventory control, safety protocols, customer service, and staff management.
- Assist the assistant manager in implementing all corporate initiatives.
- Set a positive example and guarantee that all staff deliver exceptional customer service.
- Maintain pricing accuracy in accordance with industry standards.
- Ensure adherence to relevant labor laws, legal standards, company policies, and collective agreements.
- Foster positive relationships with team members, peers, vendors, union representatives, and corporate personnel.
- Ensure that marketing strategies, planograms, and store conditions align with corporate expectations.
- Organize, prioritize, and coordinate work activities for the entire team utilizing effective time management skills.
- Ensure the store is adequately stocked and that products are rotated properly using advanced replenishment systems.
- Create and uphold a friendly, welcoming, and harassment-free workplace.
- Inspire and guide others to accomplish various tasks that contribute to a unified goal.
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
A minimum of six months of experience with Walgreens, with a performance evaluation on record, or one year of relevant retail experience as a key holder or shift leader (for external candidates).
Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, is essential.
Must have received an "Achieves expectations" rating on the most recent performance review.
