About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant/Toddler Early Head Start Teacher to join our team at the Connecticut Institute for Communities, Inc. This is a full-time, full-year position in our Danbury Early Learning Programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement weekly lesson plans for a classroom of 8 infants or 8 toddlers, promoting social, physical, and intellectual growth.
  • Support students and families alongside a co-teacher, with additional support from a classroom aid and a Family Advocate.
  • Utilize Teaching Strategies Gold and Creative Curriculum to document observations and enhance language development.
  • Communicate child routines with parents through Procare Software and Remind messaging.
Requirements
  • CDA Certification or 12 College Credits in Early Childhood Education (Required)
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Psychology (Preferred)
  • Must be vaccinated against Covid-19, or be willing to get vaccinated prior to start (Required)
  • Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged.
